The Perfect Time to Shop for your Dress

June 8, 2018

You would think that the summer months would be the most busy when it comes to shopping for your dress, as it is wedding season.  However, the summer months are actually the perfect time to start looking for your dress.  While most of our partner vendors are gearing up for the busy season, for Bridal the summer months slow down a bit, which could make for a very nice shopping experience.

It typically takes anywhere from 4-6 months for a dress to arrive after it has been ordered.  If a Summer 2019 wedding is being planned, this gives you plenty of time for both the purchase of the dress plus alterations.  It also helps to check off a very big item off of your Bridal "To-Do" list so that you can then start focusing on all of the other details of your wedding day.  During the summer months, we will also start to receive our new Fall 2018 dresses.  You could be the first to try on and purchase many of our new styles.

This year, in addition to the lines we already carry, we will also begin to carry two new lines.  Wilderly; from the designer Allure Bridals, and Every Body, Every Bride; a new plus size line from Stella York.  We are very excited about these additions to our showroom floor, and can't wait to share them with our potential new Blush Brides.

Check out our website to see all of the different lines that we carry.  We have links to each of the designers websites so that you can get a feel for what each of the different lines carry.  When you are ready, just give us a call and we would love to schedule an appointment to try on dresses.  Our first appointments are an hour and a half, second appointments an hour and third (which is typically not needed), 45 minutes.  In our next Blog post we will talk about what to expect at your appointment and how you can best prepare for the exciting experience of shopping for your dress.
